Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual lessons in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop customized learning plans aligned with curriculum standards and student goals
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, multimedia resources) to enhance learning
- Maintain accurate session records and communicate student milestones through our dashboard
- Participate in ongoing professional development to refine pedagogical techniques
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to align content with Missouri state standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 1+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least one core academic area
- Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with diverse learners
- Kansas teaching certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Background check clearance and reliable high-speed internet connection
- Proven track record of improving student academic performance
