Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group virtual instruction in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning objectives and curriculum standards
- Track student progress through our digital platform and provide detailed progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student development
- Utilize interactive digital tools to create engaging learning experiences
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings
- Maintain accurate student records and session documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience
- CA teaching certification or equivalent credentials
- Proficiency in virtual teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least 2 core subjects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
