Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student goals and curriculum standards
- Track progress using our digital analytics dashboard and provide detailed feedback
- Collaborate with academic advisors to optimize student learning paths
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation
- Participate in ongoing professional development workshops
- Support exam preparation (SAT, ACT, state assessments) as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of tutoring or teaching experience (K-12/adult learners)
- Expertise in at least one core subject (Math, Science, English, History)
- Proficiency with virtual classroom tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, interactive whiteboards)
- Strong communication skills with ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Ohio teaching certification preferred but not required
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
- Background check clearance required
