Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized online tutoring sessions in Math, Science, ELA, or Social Studies
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Michigan curriculum standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student achievements
- Utilize our virtual platform's interactive tools for engaging lessons
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development sessions
- Collaborate with academic team to optimize student outcomes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field
- Valid Michigan teaching certification (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years tutoring/classroom experience
- Proficiency in virtual classroom technology (Zoom, Google Classroom)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet workspace
