Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning objectives and curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed progress reports to parents/educators
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, quizzes, simulations) to enhance remote learning experiences
- Maintain accurate session documentation and student records
- Collaborate with our academic team to refine tutoring methodologies
- Participate in monthly virtual professional development workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM field, or related subject (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience with K-12 students
- Proficiency in virtual teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- New Mexico teaching certification or equivalent (or actively pursuing)
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to adapt teaching styles
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least 2 core academic areas
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
- Background check clearance required
