Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core academic subjects
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with North Carolina state standards
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed performance feedback
- Utilize our interactive digital platform for seamless virtual teaching
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student achievements and goals
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance tutoring methodologies
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1+ years of tutoring or teaching experience (K-12 focus preferred)
- Strong knowledge of NC curriculum standards and assessment methods
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to motivate diverse learners
- Proficiency with video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet) and digital whiteboards
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
- Background check clearance and teaching certification (where applicable)
