Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and interactive 1-on-1 virtual tutoring sessions via our proprietary learning platform.
- Develop customized lesson plans and study materials tailored to each student's specific learning style and academic needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding performance updates.
- Utilize digital whiteboards and multimedia tools to enhance the learning experience and maintain student engagement.
- Prepare students for standardized tests (SAT, ACT, GRE) and grade-level exams with targeted test-taking strategies.
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment that builds student confidence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Mathematics, Science, or a related field (or currently enrolled in a relevant degree program).
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, with a strong command of the English language.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated quiet workspace.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics simply.
