Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning objectives and curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, screen sharing, interactive resources) to enhance learning experiences
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to refine teaching materials and methodologies
- Maintain accurate session logs and progress documentation in our student management system
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with educational best practices and digital tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years of formal tutoring, teaching, or homeschooling experience
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.) and digital teaching tools
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least 2 core academic areas (Math, Science, ELA, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt teaching style to diverse learners
- CA teaching certification or equivalent preferred
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated quiet workspace
