Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging one-on-one or small group virtual tutoring sessions via our secure, proprietary learning platform.
- Develop customized lesson plans and study guides tailored to individual student needs and learning styles.
- Provide constructive feedback, track student progress, and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
- Maintain open and professional communication with students, parents, and academic coordinators.
- Utilize digital tools and resources to enhance the virtual learning experience and engagement.
- Adhere to all company policies, educational standards, and quality assurance protocols.
- Prepare students for exams and academic milestones with targeted practice sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in the subject matter or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Strong command of the subject matter with proven experience in teaching or tutoring.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts simply and clearly.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others learn.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace.
- Proficiency with technology, including video conferencing software and learning management systems.
- Must reside within the United States, with a preference for candidates in the Indianapolis, IN area.
