Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop personalized learning plans aligned with curriculum standards and student goals
- Monitor student progress through our digital dashboard and provide regular progress reports
- Utilize interactive tools (virtual whiteboards, simulations) to enhance learning experiences
- Collaborate with parents and academic advisors to address learning gaps
- Participate in ongoing professional development workshops
- Maintain accurate session documentation and student records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- North Carolina teaching certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days)
- Strong technological aptitude with reliable internet connection
- Background check clearance and professional references
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions (EST timezone)
