Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group virtual instruction via interactive whiteboards and video conferencing
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with California state standards and student goals
- Monitor student progress through our analytics dashboard and provide detailed feedback
- Collaborate with parents and academic advisors to optimize learning outcomes
- Participate in ongoing professional development and curriculum refinement
- Maintain accurate session records and progress reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years teaching/tutoring experience with proven student achievement
- Proficiency in virtual learning platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, Nearpod)
- California teaching credential or equivalent certification
- Exceptional communication skills and cultural competency
- Availability for weekday evening and weekend sessions (PST)
- Background check and subject matter expertise assessment required
