Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual lessons in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop customized learning plans aligned with state standards and student goals
- Monitor student progress through our LMS and provide detailed progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student achievements and areas for improvement
- Participate in monthly professional development workshops and curriculum updates
- Maintain accurate session documentation and student records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Valid California teaching credential or equivalent subject-matter expertise
- Minimum 2 years of classroom or virtual tutoring experience
- Proficiency in virtual classroom tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, interactive whiteboards)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt teaching styles to diverse learners
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
