Responsibilities
- Deliver Dynamic Lessons: Conduct engaging, one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions using our interactive whiteboard and video conferencing tools.
- Customize Curriculum: Design and implement personalized lesson plans that cater to the specific learning styles and academic goals of each student.
- Mentor Students: Build rapport with students, providing encouragement and motivation to help them overcome academic hurdles.
- Track Progress: Monitor student performance through quizzes and assessments, providing detailed feedback and reports to parents/guardians.
- Collaborate: Work closely with our academic team to refine teaching strategies and curriculum materials.
- Maintain Professionalism: Adhere to strict scheduling requirements and maintain a professional demeanor in all communications.
Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in the subject matter or Education is required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring students (K-12 or College level).
- Technical Proficiency: Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and a computer with a working webcam and microphone.
- Background Check: Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written English skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Availability: Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week during peak evening and weekend hours.
