Responsibilities
- Conduct 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with NC state standards and student goals
- Track student progress through our analytics dashboard and provide actionable feedback
- Collaborate with parents and teachers to support holistic academic development
- Utilize multimedia tools to create engaging, dynamic learning experiences
- Participate in ongoing professional development and curriculum refinement
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or subject-specific field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tutoring or teaching experience with proven results
- Expertise in core subjects (Math, Science, ELA, History) or SAT/ACT prep
- Proficiency with virtual classroom tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- NC teaching certification or equivalent qualification
