Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions in mathematics, sciences, language arts, or test prep
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student learning styles
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide detailed progress reports
- Utilize our interactive digital platform for seamless virtual classroom experiences
- Maintain accurate session documentation and communicate effectively with parents/students
- Participate in ongoing professional development and curriculum training sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of formal teaching or tutoring experience
- Proficiency in virtual teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least one core academic area
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt teaching methods
- CA teaching certification or equivalent credential (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home office setup
