Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, ELA)
- Develop personalized learning plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents
- Utilize digital tools (interactive whiteboards, assessment software) effectively
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address student needs
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation
- Participate in quarterly professional development workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area
- 1+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least 2 core subjects
- Proficiency with video conferencing and digital learning tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Boston residency preferred (not required for remote work)
- State teaching certification (or actively pursuing)
- Background check clearance required
