Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions across K-12 subjects
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with state standards and student goals
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and progress reports
- Utilize interactive digital platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, proprietary software)
- Communicate effectively with parents and academic advisors regarding student development
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance pedagogical skills and digital literacy
- Maintain accurate session documentation and learning materials
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field
- 2+ years of tutoring or teaching experience (online preferred)
- Strong subject expertise in K-12 curriculum areas
- Proficiency with video conferencing and digital learning tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
- Valid teaching certification (preferred but not mandatory)
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home office space
