Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 or small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Customize lesson plans aligned with student learning styles and curriculum standards
- Track progress and provide detailed performance reports to parents/students
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, shared documents, screen sharing) for dynamic instruction
- Collaborate with academic coordinators to address student needs
- Maintain accurate session logs and administrative documentation
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM, or related field
- Minimum 1 year tutoring or teaching experience (K-12 or college level)
- Expertise in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History) or specialized test prep
- Proficiency with video conferencing (Zoom, Google Meet) and digital teaching tools
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts simply
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
- Kansas teaching certification preferred but not required
- Background check clearance required
