Responsibilities
- Conduct 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop customized learning plans aligned with student goals and curriculum standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize interactive whiteboards, screen sharing, and multimedia resources during sessions
- Maintain accurate session logs and student performance documentation
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to refine teaching methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (or current enrollment)
- 1+ years of tutoring or teaching experience (virtual preferred)
- Proficiency in online tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, proprietary tools)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least two core academic areas
- Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt teaching styles
- Nebraska teaching certification or willingness to obtain
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
