Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in K-12 subjects
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Track student progress and maintain detailed performance reports
- Communicate effectively with parents and academic coordinators
- Utilize digital platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom) for seamless instruction
- Adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles and needs
- Participate in ongoing professional development training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- CA teaching credential preferred (not required)
- 2+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Expertise in at least 2 core subjects (Math, Science, ELA)
- Strong technology skills with remote learning tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Background check and TB clearance required
- Availability for weekday/evening sessions (PST)
