Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized 1:1 virtual tutoring sessions in core academic subjects (Math, Science, ELA)
- Develop customized learning plans aligned with student goals and curriculum standards
- Utilize interactive digital tools to create engaging, effective lesson materials
- Track student progress and provide detailed performance feedback to parents
- Collaborate with academic coordinators to refine tutoring approaches
- Maintain accurate session logs and documentation
- Participate in ongoing professional development training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience with K-12 students
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong diagnostic skills to identify learning gaps and adapt teaching methods
- Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and team members
- Ohio teaching certification or equivalent subject expertise
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home office setup
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions (EST timezone)
