Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual lessons in core subjects (Math, Science, ELA)
- Develop customized learning plans aligned with student goals and curriculum standards
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, gamified content) to enhance comprehension
- Provide detailed progress reports and actionable feedback to students and parents
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address learning gaps and optimize outcomes
- Maintain 95%+ student satisfaction through responsive communication and adaptability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years verified experience in K-12 tutoring or classroom teaching
- Proficiency in virtual learning platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, Nearpod)
- Washington State teaching certification or equivalent credentials
- Demonstrated expertise in differentiated instruction for diverse learning styles
- Exceptional communication skills with students, parents, and team members
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions (Pacific Time Zone)
- Background check clearance required
