Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with DC curriculum standards and student goals
- Track student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, shared documents, assessment software) for dynamic instruction
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and EduConnect's education team
- Participate in ongoing training and stay updated on educational best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Math, Science, English, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience with K-12 students
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least two core subjects (Math, ELA, Science, History)
- Proficiency with virtual tutoring platforms and digital educational tools
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with diverse learners
- Valid teaching certification or equivalent educational credentials preferred
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home workspace
