Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on/group virtual tutoring sessions in core academic subjects
- Develop personalized learning plans based on student assessments
- Track student progress and adjust teaching methodologies
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student development
- Utilize digital tools for interactive lessons and progress documentation
- Participate in ongoing training and curriculum updates
- Maintain professional tutoring standards and ethical guidelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (required)
- Minimum 2 years tutoring/teaching experience
- Expertise in at least 2 core subjects (Math, Science, ELA, etc.)
- Proficiency with virtual teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom)
- Maryland teaching certification preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be physically located in Baltimore, MD
- Background clearance required
