Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with state curriculum standards (Wisconsin DPI)
- Track student progress using our assessment tools and provide detailed progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student achievements and areas for improvement
- Utilize digital resources (videos, simulations, interactive exercises) to enhance learning experiences
- Participate in ongoing training to master tutoring methodologies and platform updates
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address specific student learning challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, English, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience (virtual preferred)
- Wisconsin DPI certification or equivalent state credential
- Expertise in core K-12 subjects (Math, ELA, Science, Social Studies)
- Proficiency with video conferencing tools and educational technology
- Exceptional communication skills and cultural competency
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home office setup
- Availability for at least 15 hours/week (flexible scheduling)
