Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging one-on-one/small group virtual tutoring sessions in Math, Science, English, or History
- Develop personalized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student needs
- Track student progress and provide detailed progress reports to parents
- Utilize digital platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, proprietary software) for seamless instruction
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and academic coordinators
- Adapt teaching strategies to diverse learning styles and abilities
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years tutoring/classroom teaching experience
- VA teaching license or equivalent certification (e.g., CRLA)
- Proficiency with online learning tools and virtual classroom management
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with strong time management
