Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions in Math, Science, English, and History
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with California curriculum standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed performance feedback to parents
- Utilize interactive digital tools (virtual whiteboards, screen sharing) for engaging sessions
- Prepare students for standardized tests (CAASPP, SAT, ACT) and subject-specific assessments
- Maintain accurate session logs and progress documentation in our learning management system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- CA teaching credential or equivalent tutoring certification
- Minimum 2 years experience tutoring K-12 students in academic subjects
- Proven ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
- Strong technical proficiency with video conferencing and digital education tools
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport remotely
- Clear background check and fingerprinting clearance
