Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, ELA)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Missouri state standards
- Track student progress using our LMS and provide detailed progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student milestones
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, gamified content)
- Participate in ongoing training on pedagogical best practices
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to refine teaching materials
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Valid Missouri teaching certification or equivalent credentials
- 2+ years of classroom or virtual tutoring experience
- Proficiency in virtual classroom platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom)
- Strong diagnostic skills to identify learning gaps
- Excellent communication skills with students and families
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
