Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized online tutoring sessions across K-12 subjects and test prep
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student goals
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and administrators
- Utilize our digital platform for scheduling, resource sharing, and session documentation
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance pedagogical techniques and subject expertise
- Maintain accurate records of student achievements and learning milestones
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address specific learning challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 1+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proven expertise in at least 2 academic subjects (STEM or humanities focus)
- Proficiency with virtual classroom tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt teaching styles
- North Carolina teaching certification or equivalent (preferred)
- Background check and child safety clearance required
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
