Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, ELA)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with New Mexico state standards and student needs
- Monitor student progress through our LMS and provide detailed progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding academic milestones
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations) to enhance learning
- Participate in ongoing professional development and curriculum updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field
- 1+ years of tutoring or teaching experience (K-12 focus preferred)
- Proficiency in video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Google Meet) and digital teaching tools
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least two core academic areas
- New Mexico teaching certification or equivalent (highly desirable)
- Exceptional communication skills and cultural responsiveness
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
