Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions via our secure video conferencing platform.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs and paces of individual students.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents and guardians to ensure continuous improvement.
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and professional learning environment that boosts student confidence.
- Prepare and customize lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student goals.
- Communicate effectively with students and collaborate with the BrightPath support team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Math, Science, or a related field (or equivalent teaching/tutoring experience).
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching K-12 students.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
- Passion for helping students achieve academic success and build critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
