Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and individual learning styles
- Track student progress through our digital dashboard and provide detailed progress reports
- Utilize multimedia tools (virtual whiteboards, simulations, etc.) to enhance comprehension
- Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding student milestones
- Participate in ongoing training on pedagogical best practices for online environments
- Collaborate with academic team to refine tutoring methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 1+ years of formal tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency with video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet) and digital learning platforms
- Strong subject matter expertise in K-12 curriculum (Math/Science focus a plus)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- New Mexico teaching certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days)
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
