Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in mathematics, science, language arts, or test prep
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with New Mexico state standards and individual learning objectives
- Monitor student progress through our digital platform and provide actionable feedback
- Maintain accurate session documentation and progress reports for parents and schools
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance tutoring methodologies
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address student-specific learning challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven track record of 1+ years in tutoring, teaching, or instructional roles
- Expertise in K-12 curriculum (STEM, ELA, or AP subjects preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- New Mexico teaching certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
