Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging virtual tutoring sessions via Zoom, Google Meet, or our proprietary learning platform to help students master complex concepts.
- Develop and customize lesson plans tailored to individual learning styles and academic goals, ensuring a personalized educational experience.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and adjusting teaching strategies to ensure improvement.
- Maintain detailed records of student sessions, attendance, and performance metrics within our Learning Management System.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that builds student confidence and motivates academic excellence.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and program coordinators to discuss student development and address concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field (e.g., Math, Science, English). Current teaching certification is a plus but not always required.
- Experience: Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably in a remote or online setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using video conferencing software (Zoom, Teams), Google Workspace, and online learning management systems.
- Reliability: Must have a stable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics simply.
- Availability: Ability to commit to a consistent weekly schedule, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
