Responsibilities
- Conduct Virtual Sessions: Deliver engaging one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions via our secure online learning management system.
- Curriculum Adaptation: Design and modify lesson plans to align with state standards and individual student learning goals.
- Student Engagement: Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment to boost student confidence and academic performance.
- Progress Tracking: Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to both students and parents.
- Communication: Maintain clear and timely communication regarding session schedules, grades, and educational updates.
- Technical Support: Assist students with navigating the online platform and troubleshoot basic technical issues during sessions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree or teaching certification is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring K-12 students is highly valued.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate student schedules.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet) and learning management systems.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a patient, empathetic, and encouraging demeanor.
