Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with state curriculum standards and student learning goals
- Utilize interactive digital tools and platforms to create engaging, effective learning environments
- Track student progress through regular assessments and provide detailed progress reports to parents
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address learning gaps and implement intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate session logs and documentation using our proprietary learning management system
- Participate in ongoing professional development workshops to enhance teaching methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of classroom or tutoring experience with K-12 students
- Proven expertise in at least two core academic subjects
- Strong proficiency with video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet) and educational software
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with students and parents
- Texas teaching certification or equivalent (highly desirable)
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home office setup
- Background clearance verification required
