Responsibilities
- Conduct Engaging Sessions: Deliver high-quality, one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs using our online learning platform.
- Curriculum Development: Design customized lesson plans and study guides that align with state standards and the student's academic goals.
- Student Progress: Monitor student performance and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement and mastery of concepts.
- Communication: Maintain regular communication with students and parents/guardians to discuss progress and address any concerns.
- Technical Proficiency: Utilize digital whiteboards, video conferencing tools, and learning management systems effectively to enhance the learning experience.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Math, Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience in tutoring, teaching, or mentoring students (K-12 or higher education).
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of your subject area and the ability to explain complex topics simply.
- Technical Skills: Must be proficient with technology, including Zoom, Google Meet, and online learning tools.
- Availability: Must be available for a minimum of 10 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
