Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions via our proprietary video conferencing software.
- Develop customized lesson plans and teaching materials tailored to each student's learning style and academic goals.
- Assess student progress through regular quizzes, assignments, and performance reviews.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents to foster a positive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance within our learning management system.
- Stay updated on curriculum standards and educational best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, the subject you intend to teach, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring students of various age groups.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex topics simply.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Proficiency with technology, specifically video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet) and virtual whiteboards.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
