Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions for K-12 students in core subjects such as Math, Science, English, and History.
- Design and implement personalized lesson plans that cater to individual learning styles and pace.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, assignments, and regular feedback sessions.
- Maintain detailed records of student performance and communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding academic goals.
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment that motivates students to excel.
- Utilize virtual whiteboards and digital tools effectively to enhance the learning experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, the specific subject matter, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience, preferably with remote platforms.
- Strong command of the English language and excellent verbal communication skills.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a private workspace.
- Proficiency with technology, including video conferencing tools (Zoom, Teams) and educational software.
