Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions via our state-of-the-art learning management system.
- Develop personalized lesson plans and study guides tailored to each student's specific academic goals and learning pace.
- Monitor student progress closely and provide constructive, actionable feedback to both students and parents/guardians.
- Prepare students for standardized tests (SAT, ACT, Georgia Milestones) with targeted practice and test-taking strategies.
- Maintain a professional online presence and foster a safe, encouraging, and motivating environment for every session.
- Grade assignments and assessments within the established turnaround time to ensure continuous learning.
- Collaborate with the academic team to refine curriculum and teaching methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in the subject area taught (Math, Science, English, etc.) or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Previous tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience is preferred; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace free from distractions.
- Valid US work authorization.
- Must reside in the Atlanta, GA area (or be willing to work remotely from within the region).
