Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Create customized lesson plans aligned with Georgia curriculum standards and student goals
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, screen sharing) for engaging, interactive lessons
- Prepare students for standardized tests (SAT, ACT, Georgia Milestones)
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation
- Collaborate with our Atlanta-based academic team to optimize tutoring strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or equivalent coursework)
- 1+ years of tutoring or teaching experience with K-12 students
- Deep expertise in at least one core subject (Math, Science, ELA, History)
- Familiarity with Georgia curriculum standards and assessment frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office environment
- Proficiency with video conferencing and digital educational tools
- Georgia residency preferred (for timezone alignment with local students)
