Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Texas curriculum standards and student learning objectives
- Track student progress and provide detailed performance feedback to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize digital tools (virtual whiteboards, screen sharing) to create dynamic learning experiences
- Maintain accurate session records and communicate student milestones effectively
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance tutoring methodologies and subject expertise
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Texas teaching certification preferred (not required for non-certified subject experts)
- Proven experience in online tutoring or remote education delivery
- Expertise in at least one core subject (Math, Science, English, or Social Studies)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Proficiency with virtual classroom technology (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Background check clearance required
