Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Texas curriculum standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed progress reports
- Utilize interactive digital tools to enhance learning experiences
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student performance
- Participate in ongoing training and curriculum refinement initiatives
- Maintain accurate session documentation and student records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Texas teaching certification preferred (not required for non-certified tutors)
- 2+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Expertise in core subjects (Math, Science, ELA) for target grade levels
- Proficiency with virtual tutoring tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
