Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our proprietary platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, etc.) to enhance learning experiences
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to refine teaching methodologies
- Participate in quarterly professional development workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or related field
- Texas Teaching Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- 2+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual classroom technology (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong diagnostic skills to identify learning gaps
- Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues
- Background check and child safety clearance required
