Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Baltimore County Public Schools standards
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed performance feedback to parents
- Utilize digital assessment tools to identify learning gaps and adapt teaching strategies
- Collaborate with academic advisors to optimize student intervention plans
- Maintain accurate session logs and progress documentation in our CRM system
- Participate in monthly professional development workshops and peer mentoring
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 1+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience (Baltimore area background a plus)
- Maryland teaching certification or equivalent credentials
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Background check and child safety certification required
- Availability for weekday afternoons/evenings and weekend hours
