Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies dynamically
- Provide detailed progress reports to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, multimedia) for immersive learning
- Prepare students for standardized tests (SAT, ACT, PARCC) and subject mastery
- Maintain session documentation and student achievement records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years verified tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Expertise in at least two core subjects (Math, Science, ELA, History)
- Proficiency with virtual tutoring platforms and digital learning tools
- Maryland teaching certification or equivalent credentials
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse student populations
- Ability to conduct engaging sessions via webcam and interactive software
- Background check and child safety clearance required
