Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning objectives
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed progress reports
- Utilize digital tools for interactive whiteboards and multimedia resources
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student development
- Stay updated on curriculum standards and teaching methodologies
- Maintain accurate session logs and documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field
- 2+ years of tutoring or teaching experience (K-12 focus)
- Expertise in at least one core subject (Math, Science, English, History)
- Strong technology proficiency with virtual meeting platforms
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Boston residency or Massachusetts teaching certification preferred
- Background check and professional references required
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions
