Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, etc.)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning objectives and curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed progress reports to parents and schools
- Utilize interactive digital tools and platforms to enhance virtual learning experiences
- Maintain accurate session records and communicate effectively with academic coordinators
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience (virtual experience a plus)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least two core academic areas
- Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt teaching styles to diverse learners
- Proficiency with video conferencing tools and educational technology
- Massachusetts teaching certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
