Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 Instruction: Conduct engaging virtual sessions using Zoom or similar platforms to teach specific subjects effectively.
- Personalized Learning: Create customized lesson plans that cater to individual student needs, learning styles, and academic goals.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student performance through quizzes, assignments, and feedback to ensure mastery of concepts.
- Student Support: Provide guidance, motivation, and troubleshooting assistance to ensure student success and retention.
- Parent Communication: Maintain transparent communication with parents or guardians regarding student progress and upcoming milestones.
- Adherence to Curriculum: Follow the established curriculum and company guidelines while bringing your own unique teaching flair to the classroom.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject (e.g., Math, Science, English) or equivalent teaching experience.
- Experience: Proven experience as a tutor, teacher, or mentor in K-12 or higher education environments.
- Technical Proficiency: Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet workspace; familiarity with online learning tools is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics simply.
- Reliability: Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Schedule: Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate diverse student needs.
