Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our secure platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student needs and curriculum standards
- Track student progress using our analytics dashboard and provide actionable feedback
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about student achievements and goals
- Stay updated on educational best practices and subject-specific teaching methodologies
- Maintain a positive, encouraging virtual learning environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or current enrollment)
- 1+ years of tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience
- Expertise in at least one core subject (Math, Science, ELA, History)
- Proficiency with virtual learning platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with students
- North Carolina residency or ability to work Eastern Time hours
- Passion for education and commitment to student success
